Stacey Pearson

I’m a fine art photographer based between Baton Rouge and New Orleans, Louisiana. Fine art is the foundation of my practice—not one genre among others, but the intention and logic behind every image I make. Working in both digital and film, I move across documentary, contemplative, and typological observational modes. What connects my work is sustained curiosity: learning to spot compelling subjects, light, and framing in everyday scenes and intimate details others pass by. Prints are made in limited editions and placed with private collectors and in civic spaces.

Outside of the lens, I founded The Pelican Project, supporting child-protection programming for missing, abducted, exploited, homeless, and emergency-fostered children in Louisiana through donations and photography sales.
